Miraculous Ladybug season 6 generic vehicles collection
Street vehicles i had to design and model for Miraculous Ladybug Season 6. Thanks to Miraculous Corp for letting me sharing these. Huge thanks to Nicolas Seigneur, and especially to Agathe De Cacqueray for her patience and excellent work at rigging these! Generic vehicles need to blend into the background, not dragging attention, yet feeling like they participate to the overall background animation.
generic bus inspired from both iconic 60s busses, as well as the newest 4 directional wheels electric busses.
I believe it is obvious which car this one takes inspiration from, it was based on a sketch from the artistic director, and i spent a lot of time redesigning every volume and details to have some kind fo neo retro feel.
Again based on an iconic french car, reworked with a neo style. The line up features massive characters, so the cars ended up a tad too big, but at least no further adjustments are necessary.
a lighter variant, closer to the micro cars we can sometimes see in the streets of paris.
yet again, another one. We tried to keep them cute rather than aggressive.
The cars didn't need to feel appealing, as they are not the subject of the show and shouldn't drag the attention. Beeing subtle was the key.
Not all french design look good, some of them looking pretty odd, and this one fits the role.
This was a specific version for Sublime's parents, with some later added weathering. it features the generic colour palette.
Inspired by a 60s french sportscar, but this time for a more mundane use.

Another variant, but the white felt like contrasting too much.
The design of the tram had to be reminiscent of the idea of a romantic city people would want to travel for thousands of miles just to see.

Yep, and that's how it is!
Line up of individual transports, but i'm unsure these were ever used.
tramway. Paris used to have trams back to the early 1900s, and until the 60s. these were reintroduced in the 2010s, with of course a more modern design.
